It is the most important international competition after the Olympics and World Championships, one in where each sabreur would triumph.
Luxardo Trophy is not just a sporting competition, is a microcosm of meetings, knowledge, friendships. Thanks to the realization of these fundamental values \u200b\u200bof sport, the trophy was able to overcome the barriers imposed by Cold War, which for a long time ago as a backdrop to the sporting events narrated in this book. The long path is traced in part through a rich photographic documentation, and together with many players from all over the world and of all time, who wanted to tell a amarcord demonstrating how this tournament has been an important stage of their lives not only fencing.
